Expecting Henry…Kansas City Maternity Photographer

This is one of my favorite maternity sessions…Mom and Dad-to-be did a wonderful job connecting with the camera, and I love how their style and excitement shines in all the photos. We shot these back in 2015 at Shoal Creek Living History Museum in Hodge Park Kansas City MO.

My style of maternity photography is similar to my style of engagement photography. My focus is on expressions and on capturing emotion with an attention to detail and creativity. It’s more of a lifestyle approach that expresses the love between the couple and welcomes the soon-to-be-new member of the family.

Cora Jean’s 1st Year

Our Baby’s First Year Package is by far our most popular- we have offered it for the past 5 years! The package comes with 3 sessions and a custom designed photo album, and is always loved by all. It gives me the chance to get to know my clients and is such a joy to watch the little ones grow from newborn to one year old. Cora’s newborn, 6 month, and one year sessions are some of my favorites…so thought I would share:) Cora turned ONE in 2015 <3blog34.134.234.334.4blog34.534.634.734.834.9

Audrey + Naomi at 18 months – Kansas City Baby Photographer

It has been a ridiculously long time since I have had a chance to post here. My goal is to get back to posting client sessions here on the blog and to keep my site updated as we did before.

These are my twin girls, they grew up to be 18 months in what only seemed half that amount of time. They, along with their big brother, keep myself and my husband feeling overly blessed yet gasping for our breath at the end of each day! lol No but seriously wouldn’t have it any other way. I guess you could say that I have been trying my damnedest to live in the moment. I look back on my sons first 2 years of life and remember that I was caught up in the rush of the world. SO often I didnt let myself or my own family be my number one priority…and when I gave birth to our twin girls, I promised myself that I would make a real effort to slow down, live in the moment, and put myself and my family up at the top of my priority list. It’s not easy, but it is worth it, and it is okay.

Changes hit our family pretty hard over the past couple of years, and now I am ready for some exciting changes that will be taking place in my photography business. Keep a look out for weekly posts, and updates here on my blog!
